Class Descriptions

Mini Movers is a fun, supportive introduction to gymnastics for our youngest participants. Designed for children aged 2–3 years, this class focuses on building confidence, body awareness, and early movement skills through play, exploration, and guided activities.

This is a parent-and-child class, meaning you will be actively involved alongside your child on the gym floor. With guidance from our coaches, you’ll help your child explore a variety of equipment including floor, beam, bars, vault, and trampoline. Classes are set up as playful circuits that encourage climbing, balancing, rolling, jumping, and swinging - all at a pace that suits your child.

Music, themes, and simple props are used to support learning and engagement, helping children understand shapes, movement, and how their bodies work in space. Throughout the year, the program works towards key developmental milestones such as jumping with two feet, balancing, and coordinated movement.

Our coaches provide plenty of instruction and reassurance, including safe ways to assist and spot your child. The focus is on creating a positive first experience in the gym while building strong foundations for future movement and learning.

Tiny Tumblers iis the next step in our Kindergym pathway, continuing parent involvement while gently encouraging growing independence. This class builds on the skills developed in Mini Movers and introduces a more structured class format.

Parents still participate on the gym floor, but as children become more confident, you’ll gradually step back and allow them to follow instructions independently when they’re ready. Coaches guide both children and parents through correct terminology and movement patterns in a simple, age-appropriate way, supporting consistency and understanding.

Classes run as structured circuits, with children staying on one apparatus at a time to focus on specific skills before moving together as a group. This helps children develop listening skills, confidence, and familiarity with class routines - all important preparation for moving into an independent class.

Each Tiny Tumblers class finishes with a calm moment where children sit together and celebrate what they’ve learned, often receiving a stamp or sticker. While skill development is a key focus, the class is still full of fun, encouragement, and excitement as children grow more confident in the gym environment.

Junior Jumpers is a drop-off class designed for children aged 4-5 years or those attending preschool. This class marks an important step toward independence, with children participating on their own under the guidance of our experienced coaches.

In Junior Jumpers, children learn to listen, follow instructions, and communicate with coaches and peers while developing foundational gymnastics skills. Parents are asked to remain in the viewing area during class, and coaches provide clear communication about class focus and individual progress.

Classes place a strong emphasis on confidence, coordination, and ownership of learning. Children are encouraged to try skills independently, take pride in what they’ve achieved, and sometimes demonstrate skills to the group. You’ll often see increased independence on equipment such as the beam and bars as confidence grows.

This stage of development plays an important role in preparing children for after-school gymnastics programs and supports broader skills such as focus, listening, and resilience. Most importantly, Junior Jumpers is a fun, positive, and encouraging environment where children feel supported as they grow and learn.

Kindy is a great next step for children who are ready to continue building on what they’ve learned in our Kindergym program, or for those starting gymnastics for the first time.

Over 45 minutes, children explore all of the gym’s equipment, including floor, bars, beam, and vault, in a safe and supportive environment. Classes focus on developing skills, shapes, and body awareness, helping children understand how their bodies move and how to control different movements.

Our coaches guide children through fun activities that encourage confidence, coordination, and independence. They will tailor the drills to suit what your child is ready for, giving each child the chance to try new skills, practice what they already know, and gain a stronger sense of how their body works in space. Most importantly, Kindy is about having fun, challenging themselves, and enjoying every moment in the gym.

Grade 1-2 class is a fun, active class where children focus on building strength, flexibility, and coordination to prepare for learning skills across all apparatus. Classes emphasize safe technique, giving children a strong foundation and a seamless transition should they wish to explore competitive gymnastics in the future.

Our coaches will tailor the drills to suit what your child is ready for, helping them develop confidence, spatial awareness, and independence in the gym. Children are encouraged to challenge themselves, try new skills, and enjoy the process of learning in a supportive and fun environment.

Most importantly, this class is about having fun, building confidence, and enjoying every moment while exploring everything the gym has to offer.

Grade 3-4 class is a fun, active class where children work on combining skills across all apparatus. Each week, they focus on building strength, flexibility, and coordination, learning to link movements together - for example, a forward roll into a cartwheel or a pullover into a cast.

Our coaches will tailor the drills to suit what your child is ready for, helping them develop independence and confidence in the gym. Children are encouraged to use skill cards and other tools to guide their learning, giving them a sense of ownership while practicing and refining new skills.

This class is all about having fun, challenging themselves, and developing a strong foundation for more advanced gymnastics in a supportive environment.

Grade 5-6

This class is a longer session where children train across all apparatus while continuing to develop strong skills through structured drills. Classes focus on strength, flexibility, and coordination, with a dedicated strength and mobility circuit to support growing bodies - especially important during growth spurts.

Our coaches will tailor the drills to suit what your child is ready for, guiding them safely through each skill and helping them progress confidently. Children are challenged, supported, and celebrated as they develop, building a solid foundation for more advanced gymnastics while having fun and enjoying their time in the gym.

Grade 7+

This class is our teen class, welcoming gymnasts from a variety of backgrounds - some with previous experience, and others just starting out. Children work on all apparatus in a supportive and inclusive environment, learning new skills and refining existing ones.

Our coaches will tailor the drills to suit what each child is ready for and guide them through a strength and mobility circuit to make sure their bodies are prepared for the skills in the program. This class encourages independence, confidence, and a sense of achievement, while keeping fun and enjoyment at the heart of every session.
